It ideally is used when someone would be looking to supervise yellow or blue burning flames from such systems, and may want to use it for ignition spark proving too.
The product comes with a clip & flange and does not respond to daylight or light from boiler room illumination. It is a very popular product for those working with Siemens residential boilers.
