When the temperature increases in a boiler system, the thermistor is the part which will decrease the resistance to the circuit. The technology within the PCB (Printed Circuit Board) transmits a signal to the thermistor, and this will let you know if less or more heat is required by the resistance, which is shown by the thermistor.
