In boiler systems there are two different types of heat exchangers that can be seen, this is the secondary heat exchanger and the primary heat exchanger. You’ll notice that the primary will be present in most, if not all boilers and operates by using heat from the burner to enhance the heat of the water inside the system. It will be only combination boilers which you’ll notice have secondary heat exchangers; this device will allow the heat to be transferred from one system to another.
This part can be found in 9 different boiler systems in the Vaillant range, including models such as, the Vaillant ecoTEC PLUS (2005-2010) , ecoTEC PLUS (2006-2010), ecoTEC PLUS (2005-2005) and another 6 from the Vaillant range.
